And we're off...

Let me fill you in on the latest news around our house. Where should I start? Oh I know...I can crawl now. And I'm pretty fast too. Especially when it involves something I'm not supposed to be doing. Granny and Harold bought me a tunnel last night and a tent. I love crawling through it, but I let my Granny (or Gigi that's what I call her) go first. We've been over here a whole week now. Last Monday night mommy realized the house was really hot even though she cut the air on. Well guess what? Our air conditioner got struck by lightning. Mr. Curt came out to fix it but it's going to be a while. Since I break out in a heat rash everything I go home I just stay with Granny and Harold. Mommy is a little homesick but she's doing better. I miss my toys back home and I miss my room and all the things mommy and I do there but this is only temporary...I hope. I've been battling a really bad cold since we've been here. This is my first real cold. My nose won't stop running, and my eyes are all red. Being sick stinks. I was so sick Saturday that mommy wouldn't even let me go to Abby's 1st birthday party. Abby must not have been too mad because she sent me a cupcake. Thanks Abby. Now today is mommy's birthday. We haven't done anything special. Just another day. I sure hope my birthday is better than this! Well it's getting close to nap time. Guess I'll try to get some sleep and give mommy a break (maybe that can be my gift to her!). Blog ya later :)

Lots of Exploring Not Much Blogging

Wow I've really let this whole blog thing go. It's been a few days since I've blogged. So what have I been up to? Well I've pretty much got this whole crawling thing down. I don't go far yet...I prefer scooting around, but I can crawl. Daddy calls me "scooter" and I think that's pretty funny. I've decided that I no longer need sleep. I'm good with about an hour then I'm ready to play at all hours of night. A couple of nights I can usually get to bed around midnight then at 3am I'm ready to play until daddy gets home around 6. This is not good for mommy but she is getting better at running on no sleep. Let me think what else...oh I've made some new friends at Story time. Let's see there is Piper (she's my age) and Aiden (he's a little older) and Lilly (another older one). This Thursday my buddy Ian is coming over to our house for dinner. I'm so excited. Our parents are taking us to see a juggler and comedian at the library. Sounds like fun and I love hanging out with Ian. He's so cool for a baby. I guess not much is new. I love to eat. I love anything and everything. I know something cool I can share with everyone. I got a new race car bed! My mom's friends Chris and Emily have two little boys but they've outgrown this cool bed so they gave it to me. And lots of clothes too! Mommy and daddy have already bought me a new mattress for it. I guess we are just waiting on mommy to decide where to put it! Maybe now with a new bed I'll want to sleep...ok maybe not. Mommy's birthday is coming up. I think daddy is planning something for mommy but I'm not sure. I hope daddy will let me help pick out mommy's gift. I'm around mommy all the time and I know just what she likes. She loves books, bubbles, little people, HOT WHEELS, and any toy that makes lots of noises! Secretly I think mommy wants a dog. I know I sure would love one! But I don't think daddy is thinking the same thing.
OK I guess that's all that is new with us. Pretty much the same old stuff. Tomorrow is Tuesday and we have nothing planned. Those are the best days. Maybe I won't be too busy to blog tomorrow. Happy Monday night everyone!

Love, Leaving, and Lots of Catching Up

OK so it's been a few days. I can't seem to keep up with the blog. Friday we hung around the house and played. When daddy got up we went to Granny and Harold's for dinner. Granny cooked steaks, potatoes, and salad. We had a great time even though it rained. Saturday we spent all day going and going. We went to Wal-mart, Target, T.J. Maxx, and a million other places. Sunday was mommy and daddy's anniversary. They have been married two years. We looked at wedding pictures but I wasn't too interested in them because I wasn't in them. We planned on going to church but we overslept again. OK daddy overslept but whatever. When daddy got up we went and had lunch at Johnny's Pizza. I had my very own slice! Yummy cheese pizza! While we were sitting there daddy suggested that we go have my pictures done. Well I'm used to having my picture made but good lord I thought the paparazzi were after me. All the flashing ended up giving mommy a headache! I did so great the lady acutally took 140 pictures of me! I've posted a few of them. Hope you liked them. Ok so now on to Monday. Monday was of course babytime at the library. Mommy made a little scrapbook for Miss Lynn because Monday was her last babytime. :( We are very sad that Missy Lynn is retiring. She's been at the library ever since I've been going. It sure will be different without her. The rest of Monday was pretty boring. Oh no wait last night we were at Granny and Harold's. I have my own little seat at Granny's. We were sitting at the table and I decided to become He-man. I kicked with my legs really hard and guess what? I flipped my chair over! I went on a wild ride right down to the floor. Mommy screamed then ran over and grabbed me. I wasn't hurt but you wouldn't have known that by the way I screamed. I screamed and cried for about 10 minutes, but I wasn't really hurt, just scared. Mommy says I'm going to be a dare devil :) So that was the big excitment last night.

We went to Storytime this morning and Miss Lynn read her 5 favorite books. Then after all the stories and songs we made a sand art craft. We went to Aunt Sharon and Uncle D's tonight for dinner. Now we are home and I'm so tired. I think I'll go climb in the bed and get some good sleep

Where has time gone?

Sorry followers I didn't realize I haven't blogged in a while. We had a slow boring weekend. We didn't do much. Monday we went to baby time and found out that next Monday is Miss Lynn's last story time with us. Mommy said something about her being tired, retired or something like that. Mommy and I are very sad. Next Monday is going to be all about trains because she loves them. So our next baby time will be a little sad. Daddy was home Monday and Tuesday but all we did was hang around the house and relax. I know we will be busy this weekend because it's mommy and daddy's anniversary. Mommy has all these great wonderful plans...yeah we'll see about that. Aunt Shellie and Devin came over today to see me. They even brought me two t-shirts. I would tell you what they said, but I'll just wait and post pictures later. We went swimming with them. We had a great time. Then Granny and Harold took us out to eat at Golden Corral. I ate until I couldn't hold anymore food. I had corn on the cob, chicken, green beans, potatoes, ice cream, banana pudding, watermelon, and cantaloupe! Man it was all so good! OK it's my bed time so I think I'll head that way. Hope you are all having a great week. Blog ya later!
