Wow It's Been A Week!

So it's been a week since I blogged. We made it Daddy's graduation and I did ok in the car. I did get a little whiny when no one was paying attention to me, but hey who doesn't? It was a little crowded in the room where daddy graduated but nothing would have stopped us from seeing him graduate. We were so proud of daddy but at the same time we were ready to come home. My daddy will never know what he means to me! Way to go Dad! Check out the pictures one is daddy receiving his certificate and other one is me and daddy with his cool new badge! So daddy ended up working last Friday night, yep one night at home then he was gone again. But at least this time he was only gone a few miles up the road and not hours away. We had a really long weekend with daddy which was great. Saturday we had dinner at our house for daddy's mom and sister and of course Devin. Devin and I even wore matching shirts! I had fun playing with Aunt Shellie and Devin. Aunt Shellie even danced around and made me laugh. Sunday daddy decided to take mommy out to lunch by himself. I was ok with that I figured I could spend some time with Granny but they tricked me and took me to Aunt Shellie's instead. That's ok though I had a great time. She has a really big tv and we watched Sesame Street! Boy big bird was really BIG! Of course I had fun with Devin too. He was so excited that I was there he didn't even want me to take a nap. Monday when mommy woke up she didn't feel good. Daddy had been getting sick but we figured it was allergies. Nope...it was a chest cold and he gave it to mommy. Daddy was so excited to have a Monday off so he could go to Story time with us but mommy woke up sick and we couldn't go. What a bummer. Oh well. Two sick parents is no fun. I thought at least I can go stay with my granny, so mommy waited til lunch time and decided she needed to get some rest so maybe she would start feeling better so she called Granny. I was getting so excited, yes I'm about to leave these sick people and play, well guess who else was sick? Yep my granny is sick too. It's Thursday now and mommy is much better other than that annoying cough, but my granny is still pretty sick. So this week has been tough. Nothing is right. We sit at home all day and I only see Mommy and Daddy. Not that they are boring, but geez four days of nothing but them can get old. We did manage to go walking with Aunt Sue today, and that was nice. We stayed out for a while just walking and talking. I'm not sleeping to much at night or during the day. In fact I've cut out almost all of my naps. I'm down to about 30 minutes a day! Last night I managed to stay up til 1 am. Then I got back up at 3 then again at 6. Mommy isn't too happy with my sleeping pattern but what can she do? I'm just a baby. So today I'm technically 7 months old. And you know what that means? Aunt Sharon and Uncle D bought me something. So what did I get this time? An awesome book called Ten Little Fish. I recommend that you buy it. It's so good. I think mommy has read it to me like 10 times already today! It's my new favorite! Ok I guess that's all for now. Daddy is gonna have another Graduation Dinner this weekend so I'm sure I will have something to talk about later.

It's the BIG DAY

Today is daddy's big day! He graduates from school! Yay daddy! I'm so proud of my daddy. He is gonna be a man of the law. Mommy is busy getting ready. I think she's packed enough stuff for me to last a week (but I think we are only gonna be at graduation a few hours). Aunt Sharon is going with us so I'm sure she will keep me entertained. All of daddy's hard work is about to pay off! We are gonna celebrate tonight with a huge dinner. I want mommy to go by walmart so I can get daddy a gift but I don't know what all she has plans for. Anyway just thought I would let everyone know it's Graduation Day...and I also heard on the news it's Earth Day whatever that is. Weird. Anyway that's all for now. I'm sure mom will take lots of pictures that I can post. :)

Just Another Day

Today was pretty boring. It was rainy outside this morning so we didn't walk to Granny and Harold's. I did get to spend my lunch with Aunt Sharon and Uncle D today though. Mom brought me back home hoping that I would take a long nap so she could get some cleaning done, but she should have known I would have other plans. We I woke up she did manage to take me walking though, and I made her happy by going back to sleep. We did go to Aunt Sharon and Uncle D's tonight for dinner. I had a great time. I played while they enjoyed dinner, then mommy fed me. The band came to practice tonight too. We didn't stay too long because mommy wanted to get me home. So it's night time now and I think I'm gonna head for bed. We go see daddy in two days! Yay. Ok that's all for today night night.

Monday with Mommy

Ah it's Monday again. That means daddy is gone but it also means Story time! I love me some story time. And today despite the fact we woke up late we had a great time at Story time. I even met a new friend today. Her name is Abby and she is a month older than me. She and I had belly time today and I loved being able to see someone while I was playing. She and I are both learning to sit up by ourselves. We played, looked at books, and listened to stories with our mommies. I think mommy enjoyed story time too because she got to meet someone new too (Abby's mommy). When we left there we went to Granny and Harold's for a little while then mommy brought me home for my nap. I didn't get to sleep very long because the phone woke me up. When I woke up mommy took me for a walk, and boy did I enjoy it today. The wind was blowing and I love the wind! I'm also learning how to wave so I practiced that while I was being pushed in my stroller. After we had been at Granny's for a little while me, mommy, Aunt Sue, Will, and Jamie went for a long walk. While we were walking we saw Mrs. Patsy, Austin, and then we saw Miss Barbara our neighbor. It's nice seeing so many people everyday. When we got back to Granny's house Jeri held me til I fell asleep then mommy put me back in my stroller and pushed me home. Now it's close to midnight and I think I might decide to go to bed soon. I've been a little fussy tonight and mommy needs a break. I tried to tell her that my gums are hurting but since I can't talk communicating is kind of hard. I've got two teeth on the bottom but I think the ones on the top are starting to try to break through. Geez I need a break from teething and so does mommy. Well that's all for tonight. I going to go try to get some sleep while my gums are numbed. Oh in case you are counting down too...we've only got 3 more days til daddy graduates!

Quick Rundown

I'm really tired tonight...we had a very busy weekend so I'm just gonna give you a quick rundown of what all we did. Friday daddy finally made it to the prison around 7. We picked him up and mommy took us to Red Robin for dinner. Yummmm. I even got a balloon when we left! Then mommy had promised me a toy if I used the bathroom (yeah I've got them trained to buy me something every time I poop). So we went to Wal-mart and I got a new book. Then Saturday we woke up and started playing! We played ALL day long. We did go to my Paw Paw and Maw Maw's house so daddy could show mommy how to shoot his gun. Mommy was nervous to start with but she feels more comfortable with it now, plus she had the best teacher in the world (my daddy) Then after the shooting lessons we came home and mommy fed me dinner, then I got to go stay with Granny and Harold so mommy and daddy could come home and watch a movie. My Granny gave me my first bath over there! And of course I went to sleep but I woke up soon as mommy and daddy put me in the car. I did go back to sleep though. Today was pretty much the same as every other Sunday. Although we did make a trip out today to get gas. Mommy's car is acting up so daddy thought it might be the gas she put in it, well it's not, it's something else. I don't understand but apparently car troubles are no fun. Good thing me and mommy like to walk, we can just walk back and forth to Granny's. We took daddy back to the prison today but it is the last time we will do this. Daddy graduates Thursday and we are going. Aunt Sharon is going too! I'm so glad someone else will be there to see daddy get his diploma. Ok that's all for now. I'm going to bed. Mommy is still undecided about story time in the morning but I'm sure we will find something to do! Night night all

Quick Blog

Didn't think I would have time to blog today but Daddy got stuck at the campus a little longer than he thought he would. Someone got sick and they thought everyone was going to have to be quarantined. Thank goodness they didn't keep daddy. They did tell him if he felt sick to get to the hospital soon. Mommy had planned on making homemade pizzas but since he's running late she's thinking about taking Daddy out to eat. It has been an ok day I guess. Mommy and I did our morning walk to Granny and Harold's, then we walked home. Then mommy took me back to Granny and Harold's so she could go run a few errands. When she came back to get me half of her hair was gone! Boy is daddy gonna be surprised! Then mommy got this huge ball looking thing out at Granny's and she cut it open. And you know what? It was red inside it. Then she got my food bag out and put a piece of it in there and boy oh boy was that stuff good. Mommy called it watermelon, but I just call it yummy. I cried when it was all gone. Mommy said I didn't need to much of it or might get sick. But I sure can't wait til I can get some more of that. So now we are just waiting for daddy to call and say he's ready to be picked up. I think I'll go and try to sneak in a little nap while I wait. Blog ya Monday :)

Wow...it's been crazy

So yesterday morning we woke up and got ready to head to Carrollton, GA. Mommy has family that lives in Montana and they were visiting. Mommy was worried about driving to Forysth next week so she thought this would be the perfect time to see how I would do in the car with just her. I did fine. I don't know what she was worried about. I slept the whole way over there and the whole way back. I got to see lots of family I've never met before. And I got to see my Bebe and Mallory and I met a new baby named Brady. We stayed for over an hour and I got to play play play. When we left mommy couldn't resist eating at Sonic, even though she said she wasn't going to. She can treat herself every once in a while I guess. Then we went to Granny and Harold's for the afternoon. We did go see Maw Maw last night, then we went to Golden Corral (and I got some frozen yogurt...yes!), then we went to Wal-mart to buy groceries. Then when we got home something was wrong and I'm not sure what. Mommy says I'm too young to understand but everything is better now I think. All I know is that my granny was at my house and it was late at night, past my bedtime in fact. Today wasn't as busy. We walked to Granny's and spent the morning over there. Then Aunt Shellie and Devin came to see me. They were going to the library tonight too for the revealing of the mural so we decided to meet them there. Unfortunately we didn't the drawing but we did enjoy the stories. Mommy said she wished I was a little bit older so I could do the fun things at the library. After the library we went to Waffle House to eat dinner with Shellie and Devin. They bought mommy's dinner which mommy greatly appreciated. I got to eat too! Of course I only got to eat baby food but I love to eat while everyone else does too! So now we are back home and I'm thinking it's about bed time. Daddy comes home tomorrow so I need to save up some energy for that! Well that's all for today. And you know the drill no blogging while dad is here...we've got way too many fun things to do than blog. So I'll blog ya Monday! :)

Happy Birthday Uncle D!

Happy Birthday Uncle D! Me and mommy (well ok mostly mommy) worked on Uncle D a gift today. The picture here is Uncle D holding his gift. What is it you ask? A guitar duh. I've heard Uncle D saying that he wanted one and I checked my piggy bank but I was a few dollars short so I made him one. It even has flames! We went to their house for dinner tonight. Aunt Sharon can cook a mean meal. Tonight Uncle D grilled pork chops and Aunt Sharon made carrots and peas, boiled potatoes, beans, creamed corn, rolls, and a salad and all I got was two jars of baby food. But hey I'm not complaining I had green beans and then a new kind of food...pumpkin and pears and boy was it yummy! We didn't really do anything else today but we had a great time at their house! Uncle D even had a cake. And not your usual birthday cake he had a pineapple upside down cake. I licked my lips but mommy didn't pick up on the gesture. Oh well maybe next time. Ok I'm pooped after that party I better go get some sleep I think mommy might be taking me to see BeBe tomorrow. I hope those little girls are there so I can play with them!

Numbers...

Ok I've done this before and since nothing much happened today, just the usual story time because it's Monday, then dinner with Granny, Harold, Robert, Sue, Jeri, Will, Jamie, and Cailyn, I thought I would do this again. So here goes my life right now in numbers.

• 21 pounds and 2 oz is what I weigh
• 27 inches is how tall I am
• 2 is for the number of teeth I have (yep got a new one today)
• 2-3 is how many jars of food I am eating now and those are stage 2
• 8 is the number of days daddy has left of boot camp
• 3 is the number of wheels my new stroller has and I love it
• 2 is the number of naps I usually take in a day (if mommy is lucky)
• 3 months that's how long I get to wait before my next Dr's appointment
• 6 months is how long I get to wait before I have to get shots again :)
• 1 day until Uncle D's birthday

Well I guess that's all for tonight. I'm getting pretty tired. Plus we are going to Aunt Sharon and Uncle D's tomorrow night for his birthday so I've gotta go work on his birthday gift. Good night all!

The Weekend is Over :(

Booooo....our time with daddy was way to short. He said I need to be tough because after this week we will just have a short week then it's back to "normal". Mommy is getting really excited about me and her taking a road trip...not sure why she is excited but whatever. Mommy knows I don't like long car rides. The longest she and I have been alone in a car is from here to the doctor's office which isn't even 7 miles from our house, but we will see. So our weekend was fun-filled. Friday we picked daddy up and mommy decided we would taco bell for dinner. Daddy was happy, but maybe that was just because he was with us. After dinner I got to stay with Granny and Harold for an hour so mommy and daddy could run to Wal-mart, and then Friday night we all got some great sleep! Saturday morning we all up and went out to search for mommy the perfect graduation dress. Well I have found out shopping isn't fun and there is no perfect dress. Mommy is way to picky. Three hours later no dress not even one she might like. We ended up coming home empty handed. And guess what? She has decided to wear a dress that was already hanging in her closet. Girls...I don't understand them. I did get something this weekend. I got a new stroller. Mommy put it together then we went for a walk. It was really nice having daddy walk with us. Mommy pushed me for a while then daddy took over. Daddy walks faster than mommy which is fun! Saturday night mommy and daddy cooked a huge dinner! They thought they would wait until I went to bed to eat but I had other plans. I didn't nap any yesterday and I didn't think I needed any sleep last night either. After dinner I got my bath then we headed to the bedroom to play. I finally went to sleep around 11. But I didn't stay down long. Around 4 this morning I woke up and I didn't feel good at all. So mommy and daddy took turns walking me around. I did go back to sleep around 7. When I woke up this morning at 10 mommy was busy preparing lunch and daddy was watching a movie. He let me watch it with him while mommy finished up lunch. She made a big pot of chicken and dumplings. It looked gross. Daddy ate it but I don't think he liked it. And later on mommy admitted she didn't like it either...so much for new recipes. After lunch we played and played and played. I took a 20 minute nap and so did daddy. Then mommy put me on the bed with daddy and she read all 5 books to me at one time so daddy could be there for each story that she was gonna read this week. Then we went and picked up daddy's uniforms. When we got daddy's uniforms we left there and I thought we were going back home but we didn't. We went to Dairy Queen and got ice cream. Mommy even let me take a lick off hers! Boy was that stuff good. Then it was time to take daddy back to the prison camp. :( I hate that place. I had fallen asleep in the car but daddy woke me up to say bye. Of course I cried. It's sad when you love your daddy so much and he leaves. I know he will be back Friday but that's a long time from now. So now it's just me and mom. I've had my bath and I'm ready for bed...or am I? I guess I will go now so I can play with mommy she looks lonely. Hope everyone had a great weekend! We are officially counting down to graduation! 11 days to go!

Wow It's Friday

And you know what that means? Daddy finds that trap door on the phone and he comes home! Not sure why he doesn't use the door early but whatever. So the past few days have been pretty uneventful. Nothing good ever happens when daddy is gone. We just count down the days til he's back so we can have fun again. Mommy doesn't have anything planned for this weekend. She is gonna make a good dinner for her and daddy tonight, then tomorrow she and daddy are gonna leave me at Granny and Harold's so they can watch a movie and eat dinner. Ok I guess she does have plans for them, but nothing too big. Well I don't have much to say today; so I think I'll just go take a nap and let mom finish getting ready for daddy tonight! I probably won't have time to blog the next few days...I'll be playing with daddy :) So I'll fill you in on Monday how our weekend went. Happy Weekend Everyone!

Fun Filled Tuesday

So when daddy left Sunday he told me and mommy to stay busy that way time would fly by. Mommy took his advice to heart. Today we went to Granny and Harold's before we went to the park. At the park I got to see my other Aunt Brandi and the twins. Those two girls are full of energy, and I'm jealous I can't run around with them. Mom had a sandwhich then we headed to the swing. I sat with my Aunt Brandi and the girls. Once we finally headed to the Kid's Castle I fell asleep. Mommy didn't stay too long because it was hot again today and there isn't much shade at the park. Since I was asleep mom took the time to clean out the car so I could catch a few extra zzzz's. When I woke up we went inside to play. Mommy put me in the big bath tub with her so she could scrub off the 25 layers of sunscreen she lathered me up with. Aunt Sharon says I still smell like Florida. Hope that is a good thing :) Once we got out of the tub we played until I got sleepy again which didn't take long. Although I did manage to sneak in a snack. I had yogurt for the first time. Wasn't too sure about it but I did eat it. When I woke up from my nap mommy had my bag packed and we headed for Aunt Sharon and Uncle D's for dinner. Aunt Sharon and Uncle D made grilled chicken, a salad, potatoes, and baked beans. Mommy says it was delicious! I'll take her word for it since I didn't get any. I did eat while we were down there though. I had chicken veggie dinner and then some bananas and mangoes. I'm loving stage two foods. We played down there a long time before we came back home. Once we got home mom gave me another bath. Then I ate. Now I think I'll head for bed. Hope everyone had a great Tuesday.

Guess Where I Am Going?

To the park with the Bays Girls! Their mommy emailed mommy tonight and we are meeting them at the park tomorrow for lunch. Wonder what mommy will pack for me? Mommy said I had to get in the bed early tonight so I can get up early and take a nap before our lunch date. I'm so excited because I haven't seen the girls since Christmas. Well I just had to blog about my big day tomorrow. Now I'm off to bed so mom can pick out our outfits and all that girly stuff. Hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow I know we will :)

HOT has a whole new meaning

So my Harold has always called me HOT, partly because he can't remember my name most of the time and then partly because when I was in mommy's belly he said my name should be Herman Omer Tweedell therefore my initials would be HOT. But today I found out what HOT really means. Mommy and I went for our usual walk to Granny and Harold's today, and even though I'm under a shade when we walk I was sweaty once we got there. Then mommy and Aunt Sue decided they would walk down the hill and back and I sweated even more. My shirt was drenched in sweat time we got back. Then because we walked to Granny and Harold's we had to walk back so I sweated even more. I know I'm gonna enjoy my bath tonight. So I understand what HOT is. I just feel sorry for daddy having to get out and exercise in this hot sun. I just hope he remembers his sunscreen this time. He looked like a big red tomato when he came home last week. OK I think I'm gonna go cool down from all this walking and take a nap.

Daddy came and Daddy went

Friday was a busy day. Mommy woke up happy and we went to bed even happier. Let's see Thursday night I started feeling bad. I couldn't breathe out of my nose. So after a trip to Granny and Harold's at 1 am, we came back home and mommy held me so I could sleep. No big deal because I had a doctors appointment Friday morning so mommy wasn't worried. Friday morning I woke up and we got ready and headed out for the day. Mommy kept reminding me that today daddy was gonna come home (guess he found a trap door out of the phone *if you are confused read the last blog*). So we get to Dr. Whipple's office and we go back to see him. Mommy got out her list of questions which was only one page this time (thank goodness) after I was weighed and measured (I weigh 21 lbs. 2 oz. and I'm 27 inches long) Dr. Whipple told mommy I would be getting my shots. What???? No one told us this. I thought I was going back in two weeks for that. Well I was wrong and so was mommy. That nurse came back in and gave me three shots! Ewwwww Weeeee they hurt. I cried and was very mad. So on top of a stuffy nose and itchy eyes now my legs hurt. Mommy took me to Granny's and fed me. That didn't' help I was still fussy. How could mommy let them give me shots on the day my daddy was coming home? I finally decided to take a nap so mommy could go buy groceries. Later that afternoon mommy was pulling me around the yard in my wagon and I heard the school bus coming and guess what? Robert got off the bus at my house. I was so excited he came to play. Mommy got a lot done while Robert was here. She started dinner and cleaned up a little. Then daddy called and said he was back in town. Mommy threw me in the car and we took off to the prison camp! Yep he was really there. My daddy had come home! Boy was I happy to see him! I smiled and smiled. Even though I felt rotten having my daddy here made a huge difference! Friday night I was really sick so daddy took me riding (I think he and mommy just enjoyed being in the car together and plus I think they might have got some Taco Bell while we were out). I did get some sleep Friday night and thank goodness because we were gonna be busy the rest of the weekend.

Saturday morning when I woke up I felt much better. We went to Church for my very first Easter Egg Hunt. I wasn't sure about all this but mom said it would be fun. Mommy tried to get me to pick up something on the ground but I decided I didn't want too. Mommy picked up the egg for me and you would have thought it had gold in it they way she acted. It was pretty windy outside so we didn't stay long. The rest of the day we just relaxed and did a few errands and mostly enjoyed our time with daddy. Mommy did take me to Granny and Harold's so she and daddy could have a little time to themselves. When she came to pick me up so had a box for me. She opened it and there was bunny inside. She pressed this bunny's foot and he started singing and flapping his ears. That is the funniest bunny I've ever seen! I love it! Apparently my Aunt Jeanine sent it to me! Is she great or what? I can't wait til I see her again. I'm gonna hug her and give her a big ole' kiss! Last night the Easter Bunny came to see me too! He brought me a basket full of goodies. I got an Easter Potato Head, lots of food, a monkey, and a new sippy cup. When we went to Granny and Harold's for lunch I got two more baskets over there. Granny and Harold gave me one with lots of eggs filled with money for my piggy bank, a bathing suit, food, and a tiger. And Aunt Sharon, Uncle D, and Robert gave me one with a frog, food, and a new sippy cup! I really racked up today. And since I'm on stage 2 foods now I had a great Easter Lunch. I had Turkey and Sweet Potatoes and Hawaiian Delight. Even though I got lots of goodies today it was still a very sad day. My daddy got that suitcase back out and started packing it again. I watched him closely because I was afraid he was gonna leave again. I was right. Daddy loaded the car and we started towards the prison. I cried from the time we got in the car until we got back home. People have told mommy that I didn't understand what is going on, but I do understand. I understand that once my daddy gets out at that place it's a very long time before I see him again. :(

So that pretty much wraps up our weekend. It was filled with smiles, love, and laughter and lots of tears here at the end. But we are already counting down til next weekend so maybe that way the week will fly by. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Happy Easter!

We've Got a Big Problem

I can't figure out how...but my daddy is stuck in our phone! I know you are gonna ask yourself how? I've asked myself the same thing but I'm convinced that he's in there. Every night it starts ringing (which I think is him hollering to get out) then mommy starts talking in it and apparently he can hear her because he starts talking back. Then she presses some button and I can hear him too. He always tells me goodnight and that he loves me. I've tried to ask him if he needs help in there but mommy and daddy laugh and say "Listen to him babble" What the heck, don't they know what I'm saying? I'm beginning to wonder if daddy will ever get out of the phone. At least I know he's not alone because My Aunt Brandi lives there too I assume. I've never met her so she must be stuck too. Man they don't know what they are missing. :( If you can think of way to help someone get unstuck please let me know. I really miss my daddy and I wouldn't mind meeting my Aunt Brandi either.
