Talking...

This talking thing is pretty cool. Daddy was off work Wednesday and Thursday this week so we did a little bit of going; OK a lot of going. Wednesday we went to Wal-mart and bought groceries, we swam, and ate a great Mexican dinner (I had rice). Thursday we went to Douglasville. Mommy packed a bag and I thought we were going somewhere to spend the night. We played flash cards, read books, acted goofy (OK mommy acted goofy), and sang songs along with my CD (and in case you were wondering I like the Itsy Bitsy Spider and The Peanut that sat on the Railroad Track) We went to Garden Ridge...look like a girly store to me. Daddy did get some manly signs to hang up in our Man Room. Mommy found me some more flash cards and she got a new grater. You would have thought daddy bought her a new car. She was beyond excited. Then we found a cool store with lots of toys. I got a book and it was free! Mommy says free is the best price! We had lunch a Mellow Mushroom. I wasn't crazy about it. No kid menu for me. :( We came home and I napped then we went to buy paint for our man room. Daddy let mommy pick out the color. I think he felt guilty since its our room. She picked out a pale purple, I looked at daddy like stop her...but he didn't. Thank goodness daddy says most of it will be covered with our signs. I'm teething some horrible lately and about 5 hours of sleep is all I need and those aren't all together. Poor mommy. She's a trooper though. With all my new teeth I'm talking a lot more. Yesterday I said Owl...and if mommy asks me what it says I say HOOOO HOOO! I can say Apple, and I tried to say Sharon. Of course I can say D. And I only talk when I want too, so don't try to make me. OK I think I'll go to bed and try to sleep for a little while. It's the weekend and Daddy's working so I'll probably blog tomorrow. Oh and one last thing....I can say Plane ticket to Japan but it doesn't do any good. (Love you Aunt Brandi)

Weekend Recap

Ok so the last blog caught you up on my play date...now time to recap our weekend. Saturday morning mommy and I went to visit Aunt Dottie. We didn't stay too long. She even has a box of toys at her house. She played ball with me...that's my favorite thing to do! We spent the rest of Saturday relaxing and hanging around the house. We did venture out to Wal-mart and did a little looking around. Then we stopped by Payless Shoes to look for daddy some new shoes. He didn't get any but I did! I'll post a picture later. Saturday night I got to stay with Granny and Robert for a little while. Mommy and Daddy had dinner at Red Robin. There isn't much for me to eat there so I was happy staying with Granny; although I think I wore her out. I've been a little fussy. New teeth you know. Sunday we slept right through church. Ok daddy slept right through church and me and mommy didn't feel like going by ourselves. So we ended up going to breakfast with Granny. Then we made a stop by Target. Granny asked me what I wanted as we were looking at the toys so I told her "ball" and guess what I got a ball. This talking thing is awesome. When I say stuff I either get what I ask for or everyone claps. Talking is going to be a breeze! Sunday afternoon Paw Paw and Maw Maw Tweedell came by for a visit. We had a great time playing flash cards and of course ball. Daddy took me for ice cream once everyone left. We had a great weekend and we hope you did too!

Play Date and Pool Time

Well Friday was the Big Day! I had my very first play date here at my house. We woke up early and ate breakfast. Then mommy took me to Granny's so she could finish up cleaning and start cooking. The house was so clean when I got back home you would literally eat cookies off of it (which is good because I throw mine a lot!) Mommy made a sandwich ring, dips, and cookies. She made a cake but we didn't have anything to make icing so she saved it for her and daddy...mistake? Probably not :) Around 12:30 my friends started arriving. I was so excited! Ian came first with his mom. He's so cool. He even brought a toy! We played in my room until Abby got there. She's my best friend. We ate lunch then played the rest of the afternoon. I was so tired that I excused myself for a little nap. My friends didn't seem to mind. Ian must have liked the idea because once I woke up he went down for a nap. Abby was a trooper she didn't need a nap. We had such a great time but boy all that playing can sure wear a baby out! When they left mommy, daddy, and I went to Granny and Harold's. Granny cooked steaks for all of us. Aunt Sharon and Uncle D came over and we went swimming! We had a great night! I can't wait for my next play date!

Go Go Go

On the go pretty much sums up today. I decided to wake up around 4 am this morning. Not a good idea. We were all pretty much give out by 3 pm today. We did manage to make it all the way to Wal-mart, stop by the Dollar Tree, and mom got me some chicken on the way home. This after noon we went to the bank, the dollar store, and mom got her a sandwich at Subway. I feel like we were either on the go or napping. Mommy has a lot to do tonight, my friends are coming over tomorrow. She's busy cleaning and making dips and stuff. Girly stuff I guess. Anyway it's going to be a short blog tonight because I want to be well rested for my friends tomorrow! Daddy is supposed to download all the pictures on our camera to free up the disc so mommy can take lots of pictures tomorrow! I can't wait!

Where Do I Begin?

Wow a lot has happened the past few days. Let's see...Monday daddy woke us up to breakfast. Yummy buttered biscuits and hash browns. Then we went to baby time. Best baby time ever! I sat between Ian and Abby. Mommy invited Ian, his mom, Abby, and her mom to our house for Friday! Can't wait to blog about that. Then after baby time we went to Granny and Harold's. We had lunch with Aunt Sharon and Uncle D. Then we woke daddy up and I got dropped back off at Granny and Harold's. They went out and got a few things for my birthday (which is only a few months away) then they went to lunch. I'm so glad I didn't go because they had Mexican food. Not much I can eat there. Monday afternoon daddy worked in the yard and cleaned the house. Tuesday morning we went to see my Gran Gran and Paw Paw. Paw Paw Bradley took me in his shop and showed me a bob cat, three turkeys, a rattlesnake, and lots of deer! Then Paw Paw Bradley took me and mommy upstairs and made us lunch. I got this awesome alphabet noodle stuff and water. Mommy had tuna salad. Gran Gran came home and had lunch with us. After lunch we played with the dogs and Paw Paw Bradley gave me my first bite of chocolate! Mom said it was called York Peppermint Patty. That's a funny name. Then Gran Gran gave me some ice cream. Mommy would never give me all this good stuff. She says that is for Grandparents to do. We had a great morning with them and I can't wait to go back and play with Ginger and Chester again (that's their dogs). Tuesday afternoon we went to Lowe's to pick up some wood so daddy can start working on the game room. When we came home daddy began working and me and mommy stayed upstairs. Mommy has been sitting me on something called a potty. She gets all excited and I end up crying. But apparently I did something I'm supposed to do. I pooped while I was sitting on it. I know more than you wanted to know right. But mommy was so excited I thought I would share it with you! Anyway mommy made such a big deal over it, it kind of scared me. And one last thing. I've learned that if you say "go" mommy and daddy think it's funny and they will take me outside or put me in the car. I like to "go" outside, not so much in the car. Anyway that's all for tonight. New Discoveries

My world is changing everyday. Today we went to church and mommy and I stayed in the nursery. They have a huge toy box in there and I decided to go for it...I pulled myself right on up and looked in it. Man I didn't think I would be able to pull up but I did! It's amazing! So I thought maybe I just got lucky. I waited til we got home, mommy put me in my play pen and I waited til she turned her back and bam...I did it again. I'm officially pulling up! Yay me. When we woke daddy up I was super excited to play with him. We played on the bed and he put the remote in front of me and I crawled to get it. Mommy says it's not a normal crawl, that I look more like an inch worm but I'll take what I can get. Tonight mommy tried to lay me down to go to change my diaper but crawling seemed way more fun. I'm learning so much everyday. Mommy even put me on the potty today. She says if I'm gonna walk I'm going to have to learn to use that thing. Not too sure about that. Well tomorrow is another busy day. We have baby time in the morning and I'm so excited to see my friends. And I think mommy and daddy are going to go on a date, which means I'll get to spend my afternoon with Granny and Harold...woooohooooo! Nighty night!

Super Saturday

This morning mommy and I woke up early and went to a few yard sales. I didn't think I would have fun but I did. Mommy had a great time, and it's true, when mama's happy everybody is happy, but when mommy ain't happy, nobody is happy :) Mommy found some really cool stuff for my birthday in October. I got two new toys and 4 new books! We had lunch at Granny and Harold's. We came home and woke daddy up. I had a snack while he ate his lunch. I napped with daddy before he left for work. When he left we went and visited with Maw Maw Marks. I had a great time because my cousins were there and I got to play with big kids. I love watching them run around and I can't wait til I can chase after them. When we got back to Granny's me and mommy went swimming. I've never been swimming with just mommy. We had a great time and boy did it wear me out. I'm so tired now. Think I'm going to call it a night. We are going to church in the morning, yep just mommy and me. Mommy is in charge of the nursery tomorrow so it should be interesting. Good night :)
